AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 17.12.020 OF
CHAPTER 17.12 (ZONING MAP) OF THE MUNICIPAL
CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD.
WHEREAS~ in accordance with the procedure set forth in the
provisions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakers-
field~ the Planning Connaission and City Council have held hearings
respectively, on a petition to change the zoning of certain property
within said City~ and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined after due consider-
ation of said petition and the recommendations of the Planning
Commission herein on file~ together with the reasons advanced at the
hearings for a change of zoning of said properties~ that said zoning
changes should be authorized.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of
Bakersfield~ as follows:
SECTION 1o
That Section 17,12.020 of Chapter 17o12 (Zoning Map) of the
Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield~ be and the same is hereby
amended by changing the zoning of certain properties in said Cityt
the boundaries of which properties are shown on the maps hereto
attached and made a part hereof, as follows:
Changing the zoning from an R-1 (One-Family Dwelling)
Zone to an R-3-D (Limited Multiple-Family Dwelling--
Architectural Design) Zone on the following described
property:
That certain property located Northerly of Crest Driyet
Easterly of Wenatchee Avenue and Southerly of Panorama
Drive~ being more particularly described as follows:
That portion of the NW 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of Section 1Ss
T 29 S, R 28 E, M.D.B. & M., City of Bakersfield~ County
of Kern~ State of California, beginning at a point on
the intersection Of the center line of Crest Drive with
the center line of Wenatchee Avenue; thence N 890 52'
01" E a distance of 175 to the true point of beginningl
thence North 0o O?' 59" W ~80 feet; thence N 89o 52~ O1"
E 115 feet; thence S 68° 15~ 18" E 9?6.85 feet; thence
SOo 28~ 07" E 205 feet; thence S 89° 31~ 53" W 395
feet; thence N 89° 58' 42" W 5?5 feet; thence S 89°
52~ 01" W 60 feet to the true point of beginning.
