AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 17.12.020 OF
~HAPTER 17.12 (ZONING MAP) OF THE MUNICIP~
CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD. ,
WHEREAS, in accordance With the procedure set ~ort~ in the
provisions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield,
the Planning Co ...... ission and City Council have held hearings respectively,
on a petition to change the zoning of certain property within said
City, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined after due consider-
ation of said petition and the reco..~endations of the PlanninE
Commission herein on file, together with the reasons advanced at the
hearings for a change of zoning of said properties, that said zoning
changes should be authorized.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of
Bakersfield, as follows:
SECTION 1.
That Section 17.12.020 of Chapter 17.12 (Zoning Map) of the
Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, be and the same is hereby
amended by changing the zoning of certain properties in said City~
the boundaries of which properties are shown on the maps hereto
attached and made a part hereof, as follows
an R-3 (Llm~ted. Mult~ple-F~mlly Dwelling) Zone on that
certain property in the City of Bakersfield fronting on
both sides of 20th Street and the Southerly side of 21st
Street between "B" and "C" Streets, being more particularly
described as all of Block 455-D and Lots 1 - 10, inclusive,
Block 446, City of Bakersfield, as per map recorded
Nov_~mher 25, 1898, in Map Book 1~ Pages 13 and 14, in the
office of the County Recorder, County of Kern, State of
California.

I HEREBY CEItTIFY that ~he fore§oing Ordinance was passed and
adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield a~ a regular meeting
thereof held on the 5~h day of September~ 1961~ by the following vote:
