AN ORDINANCE APPROVING $~NEXATION OF A PARCEL OF
UNINHABITED TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF EAKERSFIELD,
CALIFORNIA, DESIGNATED AS "PANORAMIC HEIGHTS NO.
AND PROVIDING FOR THE TAXATION OF SAID TERRITORY TO

WHEREAS, a petition vas filed. ~:ith the Council of the City of
Bakersfield on the 21st ~ay o_~ September, 1961, requesting that certain
~minhabited territory therein d~_scrJ, bed be annexed to and incorporated
within the City of Bakersfield, and
WHEREAS, said petition was si~ed by ~he owners of one-fourth
of the land, by area, and by assessed value as shol~n on ~he last
equalized assessment roll ef the County of Kern, and
WHEREAS.~ the territory described in said petition is cont.~guous
territory to b~: annexed, and
~HEREAS:, the said tez'r~.tory does not form a part of any other
city, and
WHEREAS, on the 21u~ day of September, 1961, there was filed in
the office of the City Clerk of ~he C~.ty of Bakersfield, a written
consent, signed by the owaer£ of more than two-thirds of the value of
the ter~itory, that said terr.~.to~.y be subjected to taxation after the
completion of such annexation equally with the property in the City
of Bakersfield to pay the bona. ed indebtedness of said City ~hez'ain

A parcel of land situate in the County of Kern, State of California,
and being a portion of Sections 9~ 10, 15 and 16, all in Tovmship 29
South, Range 28 East, H. D. H.:
Beginnin. g_ at the northeast (N.E.) corner of ~.he north~rast quarter
(N.W. 1/4), of the northwest quarter (N.I~. 1/4), off said Section 15,
a point in the current corporate boundary of the City of Bakersfield,
as same is defined by that certain annexation desi~nated as "College
Crest Subdivision" and as described by Ordinance No. 1099, New Series:
