AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2.08. 050 (OPEN
MEETINGS--OFFICIALS ATTENDING--ORDER OF
BUSINESS) OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY
OF BAKERSFIELD.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield, that
Section 2.08.050 (Open meetings--Officials attending--Order of business)
of the Hunicipal Code of the City of Bakersfield be and the same is
hereby amended to read as follows:
2.08.050 Open meetin~s--Officials attending--Order of business.
All meetings of the Council shall be open to the public. Promptly at
the hour set by law on the day of each regular meeting, the members of
the Council, the Mayor, the City Manager, the City Clerk and the City
Attorney shall take their regular stations in the Council Chambers,
and the business of the Council shall be taken up for consideration
and disposition in the following order, unless otherwise changed by
resolution o'f the Council:
1. Pledge of ~llegiance to the Flag.
2. Invocation.
3. Roll Call.
4. Minutes.
5. Bid Openings.
Action on Previous Bids.
?. Reports.
8. Deferred Business.
9. Council Action.
10. Correspondence.
11. Hearings.
12. Public.
13. Council Co,,.,~mnt.
14. Adjournment.

adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular meeting
