AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 17.12.020
OF CHAPTER 17.12 (ZONING MAP) OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD.
WHEREAS, in accordance with the procedure set forth in the
provisions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield,
the Planning Connn[ssion and City Council have held hearings respectively,
on the motion of the Planning Commission to change the zoning of certain
properties within said City, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined after due consideration
of said motion and the reco ..... ~ndations of the Plannin§ Commission
herein on file, together with the reasons advanced at the hearings for
a change of zoning of said properties, that said zoning changes should
be authorized.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of
Bakersfield, as follows:
SECTION 1.
That. Section 17.12.020 of Chapter '17.12 (Zoning Map) of the
Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, be and the same is hereby
amended by changing the zoning of certain properties in said City, the
boundaries of which properties are shown on the maps hereto attached
and made a part hereof, as follows:
Changing the zoning boundaries from a C-1 (Limited Commercial)
Zone to a C-O (Professional Office) Zone of that certain
property located Southerly of 2?th Street, Northerly of
St.reet, Easterly of "F" Street, and Westerly of Eye. Street,
being more particularly described as Lots 11 - 20: inclusive
Block 115; all of Block 116; Lots 11 - 13, inclus~ve and the'
N.orth. erly 23 feet of Lot 14, Block 123; Lots 1
c~us~ve, Block 483; and all of Blocks 484 and 485; City of
Bakersfield, as per map recorded November 25, 1898, in Map
Book 1, Pages 13 and 14, in the office of the County Recorder,
County of Kern, State of California;
and
Lots 46 - 54, inclusive, Tract No. 1532, City of Bakersfield,
as per map recorded January 19~ 1950~ in Map Book ?, Page 65
in the office of the County Recorder, County of Kern~ State
of California.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed and
adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular meeting
thereof held on the 2nd day of October, 1961, by the following vote:
