AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 17,12,020
OF CHAPTER 17 o12 (ZONING MAP) OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD.
WHEREAS, in accordance with the procedure set forth in the
provisions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield,
the Planning Co, ..... ~ssion and City Council have held hearings respectively,
on a petition to change the zoning of certain property within said
City, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined after due consider-
ation of .said petition and the reco~,~endations of the Planning
Comm{ssion herein on file, together with the reasons advanced at the
hearings for a change of zoning of said properties, that said zoning
changes should be authorized.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of
Bakersfield, as follows:
SECTION 1.
That Section 17o12.020 of Chapter 17°12 (Zoning Map) of the
Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, be and the same is hereby
amended by changing the zoning of certain properties in said City,
the boundaries of which properties are shown on the maps hereto
attached and made a part hereof, as follows:
Changing the zoning from an R-1 (One-Family Dwelling) Zone
to a G-2 (Go~-,,~rcial) Zone of the following described
property:
That certain property located Northeasterly of the inter-
section of Wilson and Wible Roads being more particularly
described as the Westerly 220 feet of the South 1/2 of the
South 1/2 of the West 1/2 of the Northwest 1/4 of Section
12, T 30 S, R 27 E, described as follows:
Be§inning at the Southwesterly corner of Lot 1, Tract No°
...... 2400, as shown on map of said tract recorded J~l~' I3, 1961,
in Map Book 12, Page 25, in the office of the County
Recorder, County of Kern, State of Californial
~hence N 89° 56~ 18" ~ a distance of 190 fee~; ~hence
S 0° 027 45" E a distance of 350 feet:; thence S 4° 547 30"
E a distance of 261.41 feet; thence S 85° 307 13" E a
distance of 165.54 feet; thence N 0° 02~ 45" W a distance
of 10.93 feet to the point of beginning.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed and
adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular meeting
