HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD NO 1410 ORDINANCE NO. 1410 NEW SERIES AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 17.12.020 OF CHAPTER 17.12 (ZONING MAP) OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD. WHEREAS, in accordance with the procedure set forth in the pro- %isions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, the Planning Corm-ission and City Council have held hearings respectively, on the motion o.f. the Plannin~ Commission .to change the zoning of certain property within' S'aid City, and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined after due consideration of said motion and the reco~--.endations of the Planning Commission herein on file, together with the reasons advanced at the hearings for a change of zoning of said property, that said zoning change should be authorized. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield, as follows: SECTION 1. That Section 17.12.020 of Chapter 17.12 (Zoning Map) of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, be and the same is hereby ~mended by changing the zoning of certain property in said City, the boundaries of which property are shown on the m~ps hereto attached and made a part hereof, as follows: Changing the zoning boundaries from a C-2 (Commercial) Zone to a C-2-D (Co,m~ercial -- Architectural Design) Zone of that certain property located Northeasterly of the inter- section of Wilson and Wible R'o.a'~s, being more particularly described as the Westerly 220 feet of the South one-half of the South one-half of the West one-half of the Northwest quarter of Section 12, T 30 S, R 27 E, described as follows: Beginning at the Southwesterly corner of Lot 1, Tract No. ........... 2400, as shown on map of said tract recorded July 13, 1961, in Map Book 12, Page 25, in the o.ffice of the County Recorder, County of Kern, State of California; thence N 0° 02~ 45" W a distance of 615.14 feet; thence N 89° 56' 18" W a distance of 190 feet; thence S 0° 02' 45" E a distance of 350 feet; thence S 4° 54~ 30" E a distance of 261.41 feet; thence S 85~ 30' 13" E a distance of 165.54 feet; thence N 0~ 02' 45" W a distance of 10.93 feet to the point of beginning. -o0o I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular meeting thereof held on the 5th day of March, 1962, by the following vote: ~A~iZ, CROES, DOOtit4, MARCHBANKS, MC)~/%%AN.
