AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD ADOPTING SECTION 11.04.785 (SPEED
LIMIT ON EAST KENTUCKY STREET) AS A PART OF
THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as
fo llows:
That Section 11.04.785 (Speed Limit on East Kentucky Street)
is hereby adopted as a part of the Municipal Code of the City of
Bakersfield to provide as follows:
11.04.785 Speed Limit on East Kentuck2 Street. A prima
facie speed of thirty-five (35) miles per hour is hereby determined
and declared to be the prima facie speed at which vehicles may
travel on East Kentucky Street between the easterly line of Baker
Street and the easterly city limits.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed and
adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 28th day of May, 1962, by the
following vote:
