AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD AMENDING SECTION 3.68.050 (e) 5
OP. THE MUNICIPAL CODE AND ADDING SECTION
3.68.050 (e) 8 TO THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE
CITY OF BAKERSFIELD.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as
follows' ,: · '
" SECTION 1.
Tha~.: SAction 3.68.050 (e) 5 of the Municipal Code of the
City of Bakersfield be and the same is hereby amended to read as
fo llows:
Any of such employees so employed shall have a regular
maximum schedule working time of nine (9) hours and thirty-six (36)
minutes per day and a maximum working week of forty-eight (48)
hours within a seven day period during each week; however, such
employees so employed shall work when requested by the Head of his
Department for the number of hours specified by the Head of his
Department.
SECTION 2.
That Section 3.68.050 (e) 8 be and the same is hereby added
to the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, said section to
read as follows:
Hourly employees shall be entitled to compensation as set
forth in (4) above only when such employee actually works on a
holiday.
