AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF ~I-IE CI~I~ OF
BAKERSFIELD AMENDING SECTIONS 3.64. 370 AND
3.64.380 AND REPEALING SECTION 3.64. 390 OF
THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERS-
FIELD.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as
fo llows:
SECTION 1.
That the title to Section 3.64.370 be and the same is hereby
amended to read as follows:
Employees of Miscellaneous Departments exceptin~ hourly
rated employees -- Holidays falling within vacation or other leave
period.
SECTION 2.
That Section 3.64.380 of the Municipal Code of the City of
Bakersfield be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
Fire Department~ Police Department and Hourly Employees--
Holidays falling within vacation or other leave period. Vacation
leave shall not be extended in the event that one or more of the
eight municipal holidays fall within an employee's vacation leave.
SECTION 3.
That Section 3.64.390 of the Municipal Code of the City of
Bakersfield be and the same is hereby repealed.

I HEKEBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 30th day of April, 1962 by the
