AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD ADDING SECTION 6.20. 324.10
(CARD ROOMS) TO THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE
CITY OF BAKERSFIELD.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
that Section 6.20.324.10 be added to the Municipal Code of the City
of Bakersfield, said section to read as follows:
Any person engaged in the business of operating a card room
shall pay a license fee in the smount of One Hundred Dollars
($100o00) quarterly for the first table and a license fee of
Thirty-Five Dollars ($35.00) quarterly for each additional table.
Said license fees are payable in advance for each quarter co,....mncing
July. 1, 1962. Branch establishments are to be considered as
separate businesses for the purpose of license fees set forth
herein o

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 18th day of April, 1962, by the
fo llowing vote:
