AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 17.12.020
OF CHAPTER 17o 12 (ZONING MAP) OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD
BY CHANGING THE LAND USE ZONING OF CERTAIN
PROPERTY IN SAID CITY.
WHEREAS, in accordance w~th the procedure set forth in the
provisions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakers-
field, the Plannihg Commission and City Council have held hearings
respectively, on a petition to change the land use. zoning of
certain property within said City, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined after due consider-
ation of said petition and the reco,.--endations of the Planning
Co~ssion herein on file, together with the reasons advanced at
the hearings for a change of zoning of said property, that said
zoning change should be authorized.
NOW, THEKEFOP, E, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City
of Bakersfield, as follows:
SECTION 1°
That Section 17o12.020 of Chapter 17.12 (Zoning Map) of the
Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, be and the same is
hereby amended by changing the land use zoning of certain property
in said City, the boundaries of which property are shown on the
map hereto attached and m,_de a part hereof, as follows:
hanging the zoning from a C-1 (L_imited Commercial)
one .~o a C-2 (Commercial) Zone o~ the following
scrxbed property:
That certain property located on the Westerly side
of South Chester Avenue between Wilson Road and Dorian
Drive, being mere particularly described as Lots 111 -
119 inclusive, Tract 1541, City of Bakersfield, as
per Map recorded June 22, 1950 in Map Book ?, Page
97, in the office of the County Recorder, County of
Kern, State of California.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 2nd day of April, 1962, by the
following vote:
