3.68. 140 (SALARY ADJUSTMENT) OF THE MUNICIPAL
CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD.
BE ~T ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as
fo 1lows:
SECTION 1.
That Section 3.68.100 of the Municipal Code of the City of
Bakersfield be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
PAY SCHEDULES AND RATES. The basic compensation plan shall
consist of the schedule hereinafter listed in this section. Such
section shall include five steps of rates of pay.
(a) Compensation schedules for officers and employees of the
various departments:

That Section 3.68o110 of the Municipal Code of ~he City of
Bakersfield be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
3.68.110 EMPLOYEE CLASSIFICATION. (a) Classifications of
employment in the various departments shall be allocated to the
compensation schedules provided in Section 3.68o100 (a) hereof, as
follows:

SECTION 3.
· ' That Section 3.68.140 of the Municipal Code of the City of
Bakersfield be and the same is hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
IT IS FURTHER ORDAINED that this ordinance shall be retro-
active to July 1, 1962.
