AN 0P~INANCE AI~NDING SECTION 17.12.020 (ZONING
HAP) OF T~E MUNICIP~ CODE OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD BY CHANGING T~E LAND USE ZONING OF
THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD
LOCATED ON THE EASTERLY SIDE OF "G" STREET BE-
TWEEN 21ST AND 22ND STREETS.
WHEREAS, in accordance with the procedure set forth in
the provisions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of
Bakersfield, the Planning Co.--~ission and City Council have held
hearings respectively, on a petition to chan§e the land use zonin§
of that Certain property located on the easterly side of '.~.G" Street
between 21st and 22nd Streets within said City, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined after due
consideration of said petition and the reco.~..~endations of the
Planning Co.-...ission herein on file, together with t~e reasons ad-
vanced at the hearings for a change of zoning of said property,
that said zoning change should be authorized.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of ~he City'
of Bakersfield, as follows:
SECTION 1.
That Section 17.12.020 (Zonin§ Map) of the Municipal Code
of the City of Bakersfield, be and the same is hereby amended by
changing the land use zoning of certain property in said City, the
boundaries of which property are shown on the map hereto attached
and made a part hereof, as follows:
Changing the zoning boundaries from a C-1 (Limited Co~,~-rcial)
Zone to a C-2 (Comercial) Zone of that certain property
located on the Easterly side of "G" Street between 21st and
22nd Streets, being more particularly described as the
Westerly one-half of Block 196, City of Bakersfield, as per
map recorded November 25, 1898, in Map Book 1. Pages 13 and
14'~ in the office of the County Recorder, County of g~rn,
State of California.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 2nd day of July . 1962~
