AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 17.12.020 (ZONING
MAP) OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD BY CHANGING THE LAND USE ZONING OF
THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD
LOCATED SOUTHERLY OF WILSON ROAD AND EASTERLY OF
WIBLE ROAD.
WHEREAS, in accordance with the procedure set forth in
the provisions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of
Bakersfield, the Planning Co~,,-,,ission and City Council have held
hearings respectively, on a petition to change the land use zoning
of that certain property located southerly of .Wilso~ Road and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined after due
consideration of said petition and the recommendations of the
Planning Co~--~ission herein on file, together with the reasons
advanced at the hearings for a change of zoning of said property,
that said zoning change should be authorized.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City
of Bakersfield, as follows:
SECTION 1.
That Section 17.12o020 (Zoning Map) of the Municipal Code
of the City of Bakersfield, be and the same is hereby amended by
changing the land use zoning of certain property in said City, the
boundaries of which property are shown on the map hereto attached
and made a part hereof, as follows:
Chang.~ng the zoning boundaries fro? an R-1 (,O~.e-Family
Dwelling) Zone to a C-2-D (Co~erclal -- Architectural.
Design) Zone of that certain property, in the City of
Bakersfield, located Southerly of Wilson Road and
Easterly of Wible Road, being more particularly
described as the Northwesterly quarter of the North-
westerly quarter of the Southwesterly quarter and the
Westerly half of the Northeasterly quarter of the
Northwesterly quarter of the Southwesterly quarter of
Section 12, Township 30 South, Range 27 East M.D.B.& M.
as per Uo S. Government Plat Map recorded June 1, 1855,
excepting the Westerly 450 feet thereof, and the
Northerly 45 feet dedicated as Wilson Road.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoin§ Ordinance was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 1st day of October, 1962,
by the following vote:
