AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3.72.030 (a)
CLASSIFICATION AND PAY RATES OF EMPLOYEES~
OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as
follows:
SECTION
That Section 3.72.030 (a) of the Municipal Code of the City of
Bakersfield be and the s-me is hereby amended to read as follows:
(a) Transit Authority employees .who are placed in the following
classifications, shall receive the hourly rates of compensation
respectively~ as follows:
After 6 Months After 6 Months
Beginning In next Lower in next Lower

Automotive Paint & Body Man $2o 54 $2.67 $2.81
Automotive'Serviceman II 2.17 2 o 29 2.42

SECTION 21.
IT IS FU~THE~ ORDAINED that ~his Ordinance shall be retroactive
to July 1~ 1962.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed and
adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfields at'a regular
meeting ~hereof held on the 165h day of July ~ 1962s by the
