HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD NO 1443 ORDINANCE NO. 1443 , NEW SERIES AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 17.12.020 (ZONING MAP) OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD BY CHANGING THE LAND USE ZONING OF THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD LOCATED ON THE NORTHERLY SIDE OF CREST DRIVE AND THE EASTERLY SIDE OF WENATCHEE AVENUE. WHEREAS, in accordance with the procedure set forth in the prqvisions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, the Planning CoL,,,,~ission and City Council have held hearings respectively, on a petition to change the land use zoning of that certain property located on the Northerly side of Crest Drive and the Easterly side of Wenatchee Avenue within said City, and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined after due consideration of said petition and the reco.,,,~ndations of the Planning Commission herein on file, together with the reasons advanced at .the hearings for a change of zoning.of said property, that said 'zoning change 'should be authorized. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield, as follows: SECTION 1. That Section 17.12.020 (Zoning Map) of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, be and the same is hereby amended by changing the land use zoning of certain property in sai~ City, the boundaries of which property are shown on the map hereto attached and made a part hereof, as follows: Changing the zoning boundaries from an R-3-D (Limited Multiple- Family Dwelling -- Architectural Design) Zone to an R-1. (One-Family Dwelling) Zone of that certain property iocated' on the Northerly Side of Crest 'Drive and Easterly of Wenatchee Avenue, being more particularly described as that portion of the NW quarter of the NE quarter of section 15, T 29S, R 28 E, M.DoB. & M., City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California, beginning at a point on the intersection of the center line of Crest Drive with the center line of Wenatchee Avenue; thence N 89° 52' 01" E a distance of 175 feet to the true point of beginning; thence North 0° 07' 59" West 480 feet; thence N 89° 52' 01" E 115 feet; thence S 68° 15' 18" E 976.85 feet; thence S 0° 28' 07" E 205 feet; thence S 89° 31' 53" W 395 feet; thence N 80° 58' 42" W 575 feet; thence S 89° 52' 01" W 60 feet to the true point of beginning. o0o- I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was ... passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular meeting thereof held on the 29th day of October, 1962, by the following vote: AYE~ BALF^IqZ0 CROI~, IX)OUN, MARCHBANK$, MO~..~M~N, RUCKER, SI'Ir-RN N__O~, ., M.~. ~.~ c ~ . .~ ~, '.
