AN ORDINANCE DETERMINING A PRIMA FACIE SPEED
LIMIT OF 45 MILES PER HOUR ON PANORAMA DRIVE
BETWEEN LOMALINDA DRIVE AND WENATCflEE STREET
AND ADDING SECTION 11.04.751 TO THE MUNICIPAL
CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Bakersfield pursuant
to the provisions of Section 22358 of the Vehicle Code of the State
of California, has determined, .upon t/xe bagis of an engineering
and traffic survey, that a prima facie speed less than 65 miles
per hour, to wit: 45 miles per hour, is more reasonable and safe
upon that portion of Panorama Drive between the west curbline of
the northerly terminus of Loma Linda Drive and the west curbline
of the northerly terminus of Wenatchee Streets in the City of
Bakersfield.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City
of Bakersfield, as follows:
SECTION I
There is hereby added section 11.04.751 to Chapter
11.04 of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield to read as
fo llows:
11.04,751 Speed Limit on Panorama Drive, A prima facie
speed of forty-five miles per hour is hereby determined and de-
clared to be the prima facie at which vehicles may travel on
Panorama Drive between the prolongation of the west curbli~e of
the northerly terminus of Loma Linda Drive and the prolongation of
the west curbline of the northerly terminus of Wenatchee Street.
SECTION II
This ordinance shall take effect thirty days from and
after the date of its passage.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 15th day of October, 1962,
by the following vote:
