AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE SEVENTEEN OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD BY
CHANGING THE LAND USE ZONING OF THAT CERTAIN
PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD LOCATED
ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF 21ST STREET BETWEEN "D"
AND "E" STREETS.
WHEREAS, in accordance with the procedure set forth in
the provisions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of
Bakersfield, the Planning Comuission and City Council have held
hearings respectively, on a motion of the Planning Commission to
change the land use zoning of that certain property .in the City of
Bakersfield located on the South .Side of 21st Street between '~)"
and "E" Streets, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has detemined after due
consideration of said motion and the reco,,~,~ndations of the
Planning Co~ssion herein on file, together with the reasons
advanced at the hearings fo'r a change of zoning of said property,
that said zoning change should be authorized.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City
of Bakersfield, as follows:
SECTION 1.
That Section 17.12.020 (Zoning Map) of the Municipal Code
of the City of Bakersfield, be and the same is hereby amended by
changing the land use zoning of certain property in said City, the
boundaries of which property are shown on the map hereto attached
and made a part hereof, as follows:
Changing the zoning boundaries from an R-3 (Limited
Multiple-Family Dwelling) Zone to an R-4 (Multiple-Family
Dwelling) Zone of that certain property described as
follows: North one-half of Block 200, Northern Division,
City of Bakersfield, as per Map recorded November 25,
1898, Map Book 1, Pages 13 and 14 in the Office of the
County Recorder, County of Kern, State of California.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 4th day of March~ 1963~ by
the following vote:
