HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD NO 1453 ORDINANCE NCo 1453 NEW 'SERIES AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 17.12~020 OF ~HAPTER 17,12 (ZONING MAP) OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD, WHEREAS, in accordance with the procedure set forth in the provisions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, the Planning Commission and City Council have held hearin§s respectively, on a petition and on a motion of the Plannin§ Commission to zone certain property now bein§ annexed to said City, and WHEP. EAS, the City Council has determined after due con- sideration of the petition and the reco,,-endation of the Planning CommTssion, herein on file, to§ether with the reasons advanced at the hearing for the zoning of said property, that said zoning should be authorized upon annexation of said property to the City. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT OBDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield, as follows: SECTION 1o. That Section 17.12.020 of Chapter 17o12 (Zoning Map) of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, be and the same is hereby omended by extending the boundaries of said m~p to include certain property in a C-i-D (Limited Commercial Architectural Design) Zone, upon the annexation of said property to the City of Bakersfield, the boundaries of which property are shown on the hereto attached and made a part of this ordinance, and are more specifically described as follows: Parcel No, 1 Th. at parcel Northeasterly of the Southwest corner of Section 14, T. 29 S. R. 28 E. Mo D. M. the West line of which is parallel to and distant from the West line of sai.d S. ection 14..the same being a current boundary of the c~rporate lxmlt of the City of Bakersfield, 55 feet; the Southern boundary line of which is parallel to and distant from the South line of said Section 14, 45 feet; and the dimension of which are 150 feet by 150 feet. Parcel. No. 2 That property occupying the North 208.71 feet of the West 208.71 feet exclusive of the rights-of-way of Columbus Street, the center line of which is a current boundary of the corporate limit of the City of Bakersfield, and Mount Vernon Avenue, of Section 22, T. 29 S., R. 28 E. M. D. M. SECTION 2. That Section 17.12.020 of Chapter 17o12 (Zoning Map) of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, be and the same is hereby amended by extending the boundaries of said map to include certain property in a R-4 (Multiple-Family Dwelling) Zone, upon the annexation of said property to the City of Bakersfield, the boundaries of which property are shown on the map hereto attached and made a part of this ordinance, and are more specifically described as follows: Parcel No. 1 : That parcel in the Northwest 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 14, T. 29 S., K. 28 E. M. D. B., being of an average depth easterly of the West line of said Section 14, the same being a current boundary of the corporate limit of the City of Bakersfield, a distance of 235 feet, and lying Southerly of the center line of Darwin Street - the same being an East-West 1/16 Section line of Section 14 and a current boundary of the corporate limit of the City of Bakersfield - a maximum distance of 800 feet. Parcel No. 2 That parcel, the West line of which lies Easterly and parallel to the West line of Section 14, To 29 S., R. 28 E. M. D. M., the same being a current boundary of the corporate limit of the City of Bakersfield, a distance of 55 feet; the Southern boundary of which is parallel to and distant from the South line of said Section 14, 195 feet, more or less; of which the average East-West depth is 173 feet, more or less, and the ultimate North-South length of which is 285 feet, mere or less.
