TEMEHERGENCY ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3.68. 120
PORARY POSITIONS WITH RECREATION DEPARTMENT)
OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD.
WHEREAS, an emer§ency exists making it necessary to
provide for the daily operation of a municipal deparUnent.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the
City of Bakersfield, as follows:
SECTION 1.
That Section 3.68.120 of the Municipal Code of the City
of Bakersfield be and the same is hereby amended to read as
fo 1lows:
3.68.120 Temporary positions with recreation department.
The following rates shall apply to temporary positions with the
Bakersfield Recreation Department:
Name of Position Rate
Aquatic Supervisor $2.75 per hour
District Recreation Supervisor 2.75 per hour
Recreation Leader I 2.10 per hour
Recreation Leader II 1.75 per hour
Recreation Leader III 1,45 per hour
Special Activity Leader 2.45 per hour
Swimming Pool Manager 2.20 per hour
Assistant Pool Manager 1.95 per hour
Life Guard 1.75 per hour
Pool Cashier 1.30 per hour
Junior Recreation Assistant 1.30 per hour
Official I 4.50 per game
Official II 3.50 per game
Scorer 2,20 per game
SECTION 2.
This ordinance is hereby declared Co be an emergency
measure within the meaning of Section 24 of the Charter of the
City of Bakersfield, State of California, and necessary to provide
for the daily operation of a municipal department, and shall be
effective on and after May 1, 1963.
