AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BAKERSFIELD AMENDING SECTION 2 OF ORDINANCE
NO. 1484, NEW SERIES.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
SECTION 1.
That Section 2 of Ordinance No. 1484, New Series, be
and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency
measure within the meaning of Section 24 of the Charter of the
City of Bakersfield, State of California, said ordinance is
necessary to provide for the daily operation of a municipal function,
and shall be effective on and after June 1, 1963.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency
measure within the meaning of Section 24 of the Charter of the City
of Bakersfield, State of California, said ordinance is necessary

shall be effective on and after July 1, 1963o
