AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE SEVENTEEN OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD BY
CHANGING THE LAND USE ZONING OF THOSE CERTAIN
PROPERTIES IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD LOCATED
AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF 6TH AND EYE STREETS.
WHEREAS, in accordance with the procedure set forth in
the provisions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of
Bakersfield, the Planning Commission and City Council have held
bearings respectively, on a motion of the Planning Co,~uission to
change the land use zoning of those certain properties in the City
of Bakersfield located at the southeast corner of 6th and Eye
Streets, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined after due
consideration of said motion and the recommendations :of the
Planning Co.-.~-.~ssion herein on file, together with the reasons
advanced at the hearings for a change of zoning of said property,
that said zoning change should be authorized.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City
of Bakersfield, as follows:
That Section 17.12.020 (Zoning Map) of the Municipal Code
of the City of Bakersfield, be and the same is hereby amended by
changing the land use zoning of certain properties in said City,
the boundaries of which properties are shown on the map hereto
attached and made a part hereof, as follows:
Changing the zoning boundaries from an R-3 (Limited Multiple
Family Dwellin~ Zone to an R-3-P (Lim~ ted Multiple F-mily
Dwelling- Automobile ParkinE) Zone of those certain
properties located at the southeast corner of 6th and Eye
Streets, being more particularly described as follows:
Lots 9, 10, 11 and 12, Block 74 of the Lowell Addition in
~he--6-ity .of Bakersfield%--as per-Map recorded November--2-5-,
1898, in Map Book 1, Pages 13 and 14, in the Office of
the County Recorder, County of Kern, State of California.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foreEoing Ordinance was
passed and adopted by the C6uncil of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 2nd day of December, 1963, by
the following vote:
