AN OI~DI~iANCE AI~NDTNG SECTION 17.12.020 OF
CF. AETEP~ 17.12 (ZONING I~IAP) OF THE t~Tt~IC]~PAL
CODE OF THE C]~TY OF BAKEI~SFIELD.
NBEREAS, in accordance with the procedure set forth in
the provisions of Tit:la 17 of l:he Municipal Code of the City of
Bakersfield, the Planning Commission and City Council have held
hearings respectively, on a petit;ion to zone certain property now
being annexed to said City, and
· ~]HEREAS, the Ci~;y Council has determined after due con-
sideration of the pet:ition and the reco.-~endation of the Planning
Co~ssion, herein on file, together with the reasons advanced at
the hearing for the zoning of said property, t:ha~: said zoning
should be authorized upon annexation of said property to the City.
NO~ THEREFORE, BE TT OPJ)AT. NED by the Council of the
City of Bakersfield, as follows:
SECTION 1.
That Section 17.12,020 of Chapter 17.12 (Zoning Map) of
the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, be and the same is
hereby amended by extending the boundaries of said map to include
certain property in a C-2-D (Comuercial -- Architectural Design)
Zone, and certain property in an R-4-D (Multiple-F~m~ly Dwelling ....
Architectural Design) Zone, upon the annexation' of said property
to the City of Bakersfield, the boundaries of which property are
shown on the map hereto attached and made a part of this ordinance,
and are more specifically described as follows:
To zone upon annexation to the City of Bakersfield
the northerly 320 feet of the easterly 1400 feet
of said property. C-2-D (Comuercial --..Archi.~ec.~ur.al

SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall become effective upon the annexation
of the above-described territory to the City of Bakersfield.

re§ular meeting thereof held on the 4th day of November, 1963, by
