HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD NO 1502 ORDINANCE NO.: 1502 NEW SERIES AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 17.12.020 OF CHAPTER 17.12 (ZONING MAP) OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD.' WHEREAS, in accordance with the procedure set forth in the provisions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, the Planning Co~m~ission and City Council have held hearings respectively, on a petition to zone certain property now being annexed to said City, and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined after due consideration of the petition and the recommendation of the Planning Commission, herein on file, together with the reasons advanced at the hearing for the zoning of said property, that said zoning should be authorized upon annexation of said property to the City. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield, as follows: SECTION 1. That Section 17.12.020 of Chapter 17.12 (Zoning Map) of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, be and the same is hereby amended by extending the boundaries of said map to include certain property in a C-2-D (Cou~ercial -- Architectural Design) Zone, upon the annexation of said property to the City of Bakers- field, the boundaries of which property are shown on the map hereto attach6d 'and made a part of this ordinance, and are more specifically described as follows: · . That parcel in the N. W. 1/4 of the S. W. 1/4 of Section .2, T. 30 S., R. 27 E., M.D.M. lying southerly of Belle Terrace and easterly of Stine Canal, more particularly described as having an east-west dimension -- as measured westerly from a point of intersection of the center line of Stine Canal and the center line of Belle Terrace -- of 569.42 feet, and a north-south dimension -- as measured from a point of intersection of the parcel's west boundary with the center line of Belle Center -- of 654.87 feet. and That certain parcel in the S. E. 1/4 of the S. W. 1/4 of Section 2, T. 30 S., R. 27 E. M.D.M. bounded on the north b.y the south boundary of north-ha.if of the south- east 1/4 of the southwest quarter of said Section 2, and bounded on the east by the westerly boundaries of Tracts ~2638~ ~2833, a portion of the southerly boundary of Tract ~2833, and the easterly boundary of the S. W. 1/4 of said Section 2, and bounded on the south by the north right-of-way line of Ming Road~ and bounded on the west by the east right-of-way line of Stine Road. and That certain parcel in the S. E. 1/4 of said Section 2 bounded on the north by the south line of Tract ~2221, and bounded on the east by the west lin? of Real Road, and bounded on the south by the nort/~ right-of-way line of Ming Road; and bounded on the west the east right-of- way line of Lymric Way, the southerly terminal line of dedicated Lymric Way, and the southerly prolongation of the west right-of-way line of said Lymric Way. and That certain parcel in. the N. W. 1/4 of the N. E. 1/4 of the N. E. 1/4 of Section 11, T. 30 S., R. 27 E. M.D.M. the northern boundary of which is the south right-of- way line of Ming Road; and bounded on the east by the west line of Lot 27 of Tract No. 2720, a portion of the north line of Lot 26 and the west line of said Lot 26 of said Tract No. 2720; and bounded on the south by the north right-of-way line of De Souza Place; and bounded on the west by the east right-of-way line of Real Road. and That certain parcel in the N. W. 1/4 of the N. E. 1/4 of said Section 11, bounded on the north by the south right-of-way line of Ming Road; and bounded on the east by the west right-of-way line of Real l~oad; and bounded on the south by the south line of the N. 1/2 of the N. 1/2 of the N. W. 1/4 of the N. E. 1/4 of said Section 11; and bounded on the west by the west line of the N. E. 1/4 of said Section 11; and excepting therefrom those three parcels comprising a total frontage facing on the south right-of-way line of Ming Road of 349 feet -- as measured from the west line of the N. W. 1/4 of the N. E. 1/4 of said Section 11 -- and each of the three said parcels sharing an equal north-south depth of 200 feet -- as .measured southerly from the northwest corner of Lot 4 as described in "Sales Map of Kern County Land Company in Section 11", filed January 25, 1894 in the Office of the Recorder, County of Kern. and That certain parcel in the N. E. 1/4 of the N. W. 1/4 of said Section 11 bounded on the north by the south right-of-way line of Ming Road; and bounded on the east by the east line of the N. W. 1/4 of said Section 11; and bounded on the south by the north line of Tract No. 2705 as filed November 2, 1962 in Book 13~ Page 72 in the Office of the Kern County Recorder -- and the westerly prolongation of said north line to a point of intersection with the east right-of-way line of Stine Road; and bounded on the west by the east right-of-way line of Stine Road. SECTION 2. This ordinance shall become effective upon the annexation of the above-described territory to the City of Bakersfield. o0o I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular meeting thereof held on the 30th day of September, 1963, by the fo llowing vote: Council of the C~ty of Bakersfield.
