AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE SEVENTEEN OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD BY
CHANGING THE LAND USE ZONING OF THAT CERTAIN
PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD LOCATED
AT THE NORTHEAST CO~NER OF BRUNDAGE LANE AND
HOLTBY ROAD.
WHEP-.~AS. in accordance with the procedure set forth in
the provisions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of
Bakersfield~ the Planning Co ...... ~ssion and City Council have held
hearings respectively, on a petition to change the land use zoning
of that certain property in the City of Bakersfield located at the
northeast corner of Brundage Lane and Holtby Road. and
WHEREAS. the City Council has determined after due
consideration of said petition, together with the reasons advanced
at the hearings for a change of zoning of said property~ that said
zoning change should be authorized.
NOW. THEREFORE. BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the
City of Bakersfield. as follows:
SECTION 1.
That Section 17o12.020 (Zoning Map) of the Municipal Code
of the City of Bakersfield. be and the same is hereby amended by
changing the land use zoning of certain property in said Cit. y. the
boundaries of which property are shown on the map hereto attached
and made a part hereof, as follows:
Changing the zoning boundaries from an R-3 (Limited Multiple
Family Dwelling) Zone to a C-1 (Limited Co~m~rcial). or more
restrictive. Zone of that certain property as follows:
Lots 13. 14. 15. 16 and 17. Block 11 of Goode Tract in the
City of Bakersfield. as per Map recorded May 2~ 1910. in
Map Book 1. Page 144. in the Office of the County ~ecorder.
County of Kern~ State ef California.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall become effective thirty days from
and after the date of its passage°

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 3rd day of February~ 1964~ by
the following vote:

Stiern ~ Whittemore
