AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITT.E SEVENTEEN (IF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY (IF BAKERSFIELD BY
CHANGING T~ LAND USE ZONING OF THOSE CERTAIN
PROPERTIES IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD LOCATED
NORTII~ESTERLY (IF PACIfl~CO ROAD AND PROJECTED
MONITOR STREET.
WHEREAS~ in accordance with the procedure set forth in
the provisions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of
Bakersfield~ the Planning CommiSsion and City Council have held
hearings respectively~ on a motion of the Planning Commission to
change the land use zoning of those oez~cain propez~cies in the City
of Bakersfield located northwesterly of Pacheco Ro. ad and projected
Monitor Street~ and
WHEREAS~ the City Council has dete~nined after due
consideration of said motion and the recommendations of the
Planning Commission herein on file~ together with the reasons
advanced at the hearings for a change of zoning of said property,.
that a zoning change should be authorized,
NOW.j THEREFORE2 BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City
of Bakersfield~ as follows:
That Section 17o12.020 (Zoning Map) of the Municipal Code
of the City of Bakersfield~ be and the same is hereby amended by
changing the land use zoning of certain properties in said City~
the boundaries of which properties are shown on the map hereto
attached and made a part hereof~ as follows:
Changing the zoning boundaries from an R-1 (Single-Family
Dwelling) Zone to an R-3 (L~nited Multiple-Family Dwelling)
Zone of those certain properties in the City of Bakersfield
located northwesterly of Pacheco Road and projected Monitor
Street~ and being more particularly described as follows:
