AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE SEVENTEEN OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD BY
CHANGING THE LAND USE ZONING OF THOSE CERTAIN
PROPERTIES IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD COMMONLY
KNOWN AS 2203 - 2205 BRUNDAGE LANE.
WHEREAS, in accordance with the procedure set forth in
the provisions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of
Bakersfield, the Planning Commission and City Council have held
hearings respectively, on a motion of the Planning Commission to
change the land use zoning of those certain properties in the City
of Bakersfield commonly known as 2203 - 2205 Brundage Lane, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined after due
consideration of said motion and. the recommendations of the
Planning CoL~..~ission herein on file, together with the reasons
advanced at the hearings for a change of zoning of said property,
that a zoning change should be authorized.
NOW~ THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City
of Bakersfield, as follows:
That Section 17.12.020 (Zoning Map) of the Municipal Code
of the City of Bakersfield, be and the same is hereby amended by
changing the land use zoning of certain properties in said City~
the boundaries of which properties are shown on the map hereto
attached and made a part hereof, as follows:
Changing_ the zoning boundaries from an R-1 (Single-Family
Dwelling) Zone to a C-2 (Commercial) Zone of those
certain properties in the City of Bakersfield commonly
known as 2203 - 2205 Brundage Lane~ being more particularly
described as follows:
The Westerly 148.5 feet of the Northerly 481.72 feet of
Lot 3 of Section 1, T. 30 S., R. 27 E., M.D.M., excepting
that No.r.therly portion dedicated to the State of California,-.
-"' according to the Map thereof recorded May 1, 1889, in the
Office of the County Recorder of said County.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 9th day of November, 1964, by
the following vote:
