AN ORDTNANCE A~ENDING TITLE SEVENTEEN OF THE
~JNTCIPAL CODE OF THE CTTY OF BAKEKSFIELD BY
CHANGING THE LAND USE ZONINC OF THOSE CERTAIN
PROPERTIES IN THE CITY OF 'BAKERSFIELD COMHONLY
KNO~ AS 2830 UNION AVENUE.
NHEREAS, in accordance ~rlth the procedure set forth in
the provisions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of
Bakersfield, the Planning Comuission and City Council have held
hearings respectively, on a motion of the Planning Cm~i-.fssion to
change the land use zoning of those certain properties in the City
of Bakersfield commonly known as 2830 Union Avenue, and
NtIEREAS, the City Council has determined after due
consideration of said motion and the reco ..... ~ndations of the
Planning Commission herein on file, together with the reasons
advanced at the hearings for a change of zoning of said property,
that a zoning change should be authorized.
NOW, THEKEFOIUg, BE IT ORDAINED by the Cotmcil of the City
of Bakersfield, as follows:
Tb~t Section 17.12o020 (Zoning Map) of the Municipai Code
of the City of Bakersfield, be and the same is hereby amended by
changing the land use zoning of certain properties in said City,
the boundaries of which properties are sho~m on the map hereto
attached and made a part hereof, as follows:
Changin.g the zoning boundaries from an
(Single Family D~elling) Zone to a C-2
(Co.~uercial) Zone of those certain properties
commnnly known as 2830 Union Avenue, being
more particularly described as follows:
The west 100 feet of Lots 17, 18, 19 and 20,
..... Block 9, Alta Vista Tract .No. 2, in the City ..........
of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of
California, as per Map thereof recorded April
9, 1926, in Book 3, Page 122 of Maps, in the
Office of the County Recorder of said County.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 6th day of July, 1964~ by the
