AN ORDINANCE &MENDIND CHAPTE~ 6.12 O~ THE
M~N!CIPAL CODE OF THE CIT~ OF BAKEKSFIELD BY
DELETING THE PUBLIC E~PLOYEES EX~dPTION FROM
SECTION 6.12.090.
BE iT ORDAINE~ by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
that Ghapter 6.12 of the Municlpal Code of the City of Bakersfield
is hereby amended by deleting St~bsection (a) of Section 6.12.090
as follows:
6.12.090 Exemptions. No tax shall be payable hereunder
in any of the followin§ instances:
(a) Deleted.
(b) On ro~m rental paid to any hosgital, medical
clinic, convalescent home or home for aged

This ordinance ~hall become effective thirty (30) days
from and after its passage.
