AN ORDINANCE AMENDINC TITLE SEVENTEEN OF THE
MIR~CIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD BY
CHAN~IIq~ THE LAND USE ZONIN~ OF THOSE CERTAIN
PROPERTIES IN THE CI'FZ' OF BAKERSFIELD ALON(~
CALXFORNXA AVENUE~ BETWEEN **A** Alq~ **C** STREETS.
WHEREAS, in accordance with the procedure set forth ~n
the provisions of Title 17 of the Hunicipal Code of the City o£
Bakersfield, the Planning Consnisston and City Council have held
hearings respectively, on a motion of the Planning Commission to
change the land use zoning of those certain properties in the City
of Bakersfield alon~ California Avenue, be~een "A" ~nd "C" Streets,
and
WBE~S, the City council has determined after due
consideration of said motion and the recommendations of the
Planning Co~mtssion herein on file, together with the reasons
advanced at the hearings for a change of zoning of said property,
that a zoning change should be authorized.
NOW, THEI~FORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City
of Bakers£teld as follows:
T~at Section 17.12.020 (Zoning Map) of the Municipal Code
of the City of Bakersftel-d, be and the same is hereby amended by
changing the land use zoning of certain properties in said. City,
the boundaries of which properties are shown on the nmp hereto
attached and n~de a part hereo£~ as follows:
Changing the zoning boundaries from an R-4 (Multiple
Family Dwelling) Zone to a C-1 (Limited Counuerc~al)
Zone, for the following described properties:
Lots 4 through 10~ Block 3, Wes~park Subdivision,
.... o~ the City of Bakers£[eld~ County of Kern, State
~ of Calt£~rnia, as p~.r M~p ' recomded- OcCaber' 5'~' 1~10 ;- -
in Map Book 2, Page 6, in the Office of the County
Recorder of said Covnty.
