BE IT ORDAINED by the Council o£ the City o£ Bakers£ield
ChaC Chapter 7.52 of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield
be mnended as follows~
SEC~/ON
That: Section 7.52.270 (a) be Amended to read as follows:
7.52.270 Driver ~ s permtC--AppltcaC_ion-..-F..eeo-Age

be unlawful for any person to drive, operate or be in charge o£.
any taxicab or chauffeured limousine governed or affected by Chis

pursuant Co Chis chapter, so to do.
SECTION 2.
That Section 7.52.270(b) be _o~ded to read as ~ollovs.'
7.520270(b) Applicant for such permit sball appear personally
and file with the Chief o[ Police an application in writing, upon
a form ~urntshed by the Chief of Police, containtn~ such information
es said officer may require. Such application shall be accompanied
by a pennt~ fee in the amount of Two Dollars ($2.00) which fee
shall not be refamded for any reason,

SECTION 4.
That Sections 7.$2.270(k) and 7.$2.270(1) are hereby
deleteg.
SECTION 5.
That Section 7.§2.290(a) be amended to read as follows:
