AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD ADDING SECTION 3.68.10S (OPERATION
OF PAY RANGES AND RAT~S) TO THE MI~XCIPAL CODE
AND AMENDING SECTION 3.68. Il0 (EMPLOYEE
CLASSIFICATION) OF TH~ MI~ICIPAL CODE OF THE
CITY OF BAKERSFIELD.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Councal of the Caty of Bakersf/eld
as follows:
SECTION 1.
That Sectaon 3.58.105 is added to the l~unacipal Code of
the Caty of Bakersfield to read as follows:
3.68.105 Operation of pay ranges and rates. No pay
range or rate step shall be consadered automatac or subject to
ancrease by reason of time ~n se~-~ace beyond the second step an ~:.ny
range number classafacst[on, In any range number classa£acataon
a salary increase beyond the second step shall be based on
and to be eff."ectf~ve must be recommended by the Department l~ad arid
approved by the ?ersorme! .Detector and recetve such other approv~l
as as requared an thas clmpter.
SECTION 2.
That Section 3.58.110 of the Hun~cipal Code of the Cat),
of Bakersfaeld be and the same as hereby amended to read as fo].lc~es:
