HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD NO 1749 ORDINANCE NO. ,'174~ NEW SERIES AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 17.12.020 OE CHAPTER 17.12 (ZONING MAP) OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD. WHEREAS, in accordance with the procedure set forth in the provisions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, the Planning Co~Lission and City Council have held hearings respectively, on motion to zone certain property now being annexed to said City, and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined after due consideration of the motion and recommendation of the Planning Commission, herein on file, together with the reasons advanced at the hearing for the zoning of said property, that said zoning should be authorized upon annexation of said property to the City. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield, as follows: SECTION 1. That Section 17.12.020 of Chapter 17.12 (Zoning Map) of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, be and the same is hereby amended by extending the boundaries of said map to include those certain properties in the County of Kern being a portion of Sections 26, 34, 35, T29S, R27E, and Section 3, T30S, R27E, M.D.B.M., known as California Avenue #1 Annexation, in a C-2 (Commercial) Zone; in an M-1 (Light Manufacturing) Zone; in an R-3 (Limited Multiple Family Dwelling) Zone; in a C-0 (Professional Office) Zone; in a C-1 (Limited Commercial) Zone; in an "A" (Agricultural)Zone; and in an .R-l-CH (Single Family ...... Dwelling -. Church) Zone, upon the--annexation-of said property to the City of Bakersfield, the boundaries of which property are shown on the map hereto attached and made a part of this ordinance, and are more specifically described as follows: TO A C-2 (COMMERCIALI) ZONE: ..:;: Parcel ~1: Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 11, 12, 13 of Tentative'~ract No. 3202, as said Tentative Tract was filed with the City of Bakersfield Planning Department on May 17, 1968.
