AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BAKERSFIELD AMENDING SECTION 3.22.020
(d) OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE TO EXTEND THE
ELIGIBILITY OF EMPLOYEES TO PARTICIPATE
IN THE GROUP INSURANCE PROGRAM.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
SECTION 1
That Section 3.22.020 (d) of the Municipal Code of the
City of Bakersfield is amended to read as follows:
(d) Eligibility of Employees and Elected Officials.
All elected officials and appointed employees of the City shall
be eligible to participate in said group insurance on the first of
the month following the date they assume their office or position.
SECTION 2
This ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days
from and after the date of its passage.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 16th day of December, 1968,
by the following vote:
