AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD AMENDING SECTION 7.62.010 (c) OF
THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERS-
FIELD.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
aS follows:
SECTION 1.
That Section 7.62.010(c) of the Municipal Code of the
City of Bakersfield is amended to read as follows:
(c) OPERATION WITHIN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD means the
receiving, picking up or embarking within the City of Bakersfield
of a sick or injured person for transportation or conveyance to any
point within or without the City of Bakersfield, except the
transportation from hospitals, licensed nursing homes, and
certified extended care facilities located in the City to points
outside the City.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall become effective thirty days from
and after the date of its passage.

I .HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on the l?th day of February, 1969,
by the following vote:
