AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD REPEALING SECTIONS 7.62. 110,
7.62.120, 7.62.140 AND 7.62.150 OF CHAPTER
7.62 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE AND ADDING NEW
SECTIONS 7.62. 110 AND 7.62. 120.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
SECTION 1.
That Sections 7.62. 110, 7.62. 120, 7.62. 140 and 7.62. 150
of Chapter 7.62 are hereby repealed.
SECTION 2.
That Sections 7.62.110 and 7.62.120 are hereby added to
the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield to read as follows:
7.62. 110 Compliance with State Law. No certificate of
public convenience or necessity shall be issued until satisfactory
proof of compliance with State laws in respect to ambulance
operations is furnished the City Manager.
7.62. 120 Ambulance Service Char~es. Charges for
ambulance service shall be not more than the rates allowable in
Los Angeles and a schedule of rates shall be supplied by the owner/
operator of an ambulance business to the City Clerk. The ambulance
service charges shall conform to such schedule. Whenever it is
contemplated that the rates should be changed then new schedules
shall be filed with the City Clerk.
SECTION 3.
· This ordinance shall become effective thirty days from
and after the date of its passage.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 9.?th day of January, 1969,
