AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD AMENDING SECTION 5.32.220
(POLICE PERMITS--INSPECTION) OF THE MUNICIPAL
CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
SECTION 1.
That Section 5.32.220 (Police permits--Inspection) be
amended to read as follows:
5.32.220 Police permits--Inspection. Each rental of the
auditorium or a part or facility thereof, shall be construed to cover
all fees for municipal permits or licenses, including police permits,
for the doing of any act within the auditorium and solicitation of
exhibitors to exhibit therein. However, necessary and proper
inspection to comply with the ordinances shall be performed by the
applicable departments of the city at the request of the Manager,
and any and all lessees shall comply with all existing regulations.
If any event requires a police permit under any ordinance of the
city, such permit must be obtained by the permittee.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall become effective thirty days from
and after the date of its passage.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at
a regular meeting thereof held on the 21st day of April, 1969,
by the following vote:
