AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE SEVENTEEN OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD BY
CHANGING THE IAND USE ZONING OF THAT CERTAIN
PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD LOCATED
NORTH OF BERNARD STREET, APPROXIMATELY 660
FEET WEST OF OSWELL STREET.
WHEREAS, in accordance with the procedure set forth in
the provisions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of
Bakersfield, the Planning Co~-~.ission and City Council have held
hearings respectively, on a petition to change the land use zoning
of that certain property in the City of Bakersfield located north
of Bernard Street, approximately 660 feet west of Oswell Street,
and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined after due con-
sideration of said petition and the reco~-~,endations of the Planning
Commission herein on file, together with the reasons advanced at
the hearings for a change of zoning of said property, that a zoning
change should 'be authorized.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City
of Bakersfield as follows:
Changing the zoning boundaries from an R-1 (Single
Family Dwelling) Zone to an R-l-CH (Single Family
Dwelling - Church) Zone of that certain property
located north of Bernard Street, 660 feet west of
Oswell Street, being more particularly described
as follows:
NW 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of Section 22,
Township 29 South, Range 28 East, City of
Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 31st day of March, 1969, by
the following vote:
