AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE SEVENTEEN OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD BY
CHANGING THE LAND USE ZONING OF THAT CERTAIN
PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD LOCATED
660 FEET WEST OF HIGHWAY 99 ON THE SOUTH SIDE
OF PACHECO ROAD.
WHEREAS, in accordance with the procedure set forth in
the provisions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of
Bakersfield, the Planning Commission and City Council have held
hearings respectively, on a petition to change the land use zoning
of that certain property in the City of Bakersfield located 660
feet west of Highway 99 on the south side of Pacheco Road; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined after due con-
sideration of said petition and the recommendations of the Planning
Co~L,.,~ission herein on file, together with the reasons advanced at
the hearings for a change of zoning of said property, that a zoning
change should be authorized.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City
of Bakersfield as follows:
That Section 17.12.020 (Zoning Map) of the Municipal Code
of the City of Bakersfield, be and the same is hereby amended by
changing the land use zoning of certain property in said City, the
boundaries of which property are sho~a on the map hereto attached
and made a part hereof, as follows:
Changing the zoning boundaries from an R-1 (Single
Family Dwelling) Zone to an R-2-D (Two Family Dwell-
ing - Architectural Design) Zone; to an R-i-CH
(Single Family Dwelling - Church) Zone; and to an
R-2-MH-D (Two Family Dwelling - Mobile Home Park -
Architectural Design) Zone, of that certain
property in the City of Bakersfield located 660
feet west of Highway 99 on the sou.th side ,of

as follows:
From an R-1 (Single Family Dwelling~ Zone to an
R-2-D (Two Family Dwelling - Architectural Desi~,n)
Zone:
Parcel 1: The west 628 feet of the east 660 feet
of the' north 200 feet of Lot 3 of the NE~ of Section
19, T30S, R28E, M.D.B.M. EXCEPTING THEREFROM the
north 30 feet dedicated to the County for road
purposes·
Parcel 2: The east 440 feet of the west 658 feet
of the north 200 feet of Lot 1 of the NE~ of Section
19, T30S, R28E, M.D.B.M. EXCEPTING THEREFROM the
north 30 feet dedicated to the County for road
purposes.
From an R-1 (Single Family Dwelling~ Zone'. bo a.n
R-l-CH (Single Family Dwelling - Chu=.ch~ Zone.
Parcel 3: The west 168 feet of the north 465.60
feet of Lot 1 and the east 32 feet of the north
465.60 feet of Lot 3 of the NE~ of Section 19,
T30S, P,28E, M.D.B.M. EXCEPTING THEREFROM the
north 30 feet dedicated to the County for road
purposes.
From an R-1 (Single Family DwellinK~ Zone to an
R-2-MH-D (Two ~amiiy Dwelling - Mobile Home Park -
Architectural Design) Zone: '
Parcel 4: The west half of Lots 1 and 2 and the
east bmIf of Lot 3. Also the east 242.25 feet of
the west 900.25 feet of the south 462 feet of Lot
2 all lying within the N~ of the NE~ of Section 19,
T30S, R28E, M.D.B.M. EXCEPTING THEREFROM all those
portions described above as Parcel Numbers 1, 2, and
3.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 26th day of May, 1969, by the
