AN ORDINANCE ALTERING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE
SECOND, THIRD AND FIFTH WARDS OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
SECTION 1.
The 'boundaries of the Second Ward of the City of Bakersfield
are hereby altered so as to include therein '.that certain parcel
of territory heretofore annexed to the City of Bakersfield by
Ordinance No. 1779, New Series, of the City of Bakersfield, which
territory is designated as "MOUNT VERNON NO. 2", and is specifically
described in said ordinance.
SECTION 2.
The boundaries of the Third Ward of the City of Bakersfield
are hereby altered so as to include therein that certain parcel of
territory heretofore annexed to the City of Bakersfield by
Ordinance No. 1766, New Series, of the City of Bakersfield, which
territory is designated as "AUBURN NO. 1", and is specifically
described in said ordinance.
SECTION 3.
The boundaries of the Fifth Ward of the City of Bakersfield
are hereby altered so as to include therein that certain parcel of
territory heretofore annexed to the City of Bakersfield by Ordinance
No. 1778, New Series, of the City of Bakersfield, which territory
is designated as "STOCKDALE NO. 1", and is specifically described
in said ordinance.
SECTION 4.
This ordinance shall become effective thirty days from
and after the date of its passage.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 12th day of May, 1969, by
the following vote:
