AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 11.04 OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF~_ BAKERSFIELD
BY AMENDING SECTION 11.04.72~(a) (PROHIBIT-
ING PARKING ON A PORTION OF THE 1400 BLOCK
AND 1500 BLOCK OF BRUNDAGE LANE).
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
SECTION 1.
That Section 11.04.72~ (a) of the Municipal Code of the
City of Bakersfield be amended to read as follows:
11.04.72~ (a) Parkin8 Prohibited on a Portion of the 1400 Block
and 1500 Block of Brundage Lane. When appropriate signs are posted,
no person shall stop, park, or leave standing any vehicle whether
attended or unattended, except when necessary to avoid conflict with
other traffic or in compliance with the directions of a peace officer
or traffic control signal device, on Brundage Lane on the north
side between Chester Avenue and Eye Street, and also on the north
side east of Chester Avenue for a distance of 305 feet, on the south
side west of Chester Avenue for a distance of 110 feet; also on the
south side east of Chester Avenue for a distance of 240 feet.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall become effective thirty days from
and after the date of its passage.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 21s~ day of Jul~ , 1969, by
