AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE SEVENTEEN OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD BY
CHANGING THE LAND USE ZONING OF THAT CERTAIN
PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD LOCATED
ON THE WEST SIDE OF STINE ROAD APPROXIMATELY
680 FEET SOUTH OF BELLE TERRACE.
WHEREAS, in accordance with the procedure set forth in
the provisions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of
Bakersfield, the Planning Commission and City Council have held
hearings respectively, on a petition to change the land use zoning
of that certain property in the City of Bakersfield located on
the west side of Stine Road approximately 680 feet south of Belle
Terrace; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined after due con-
sideration of said petition and the recoLmL,endations of the Planning
Commission herein on file, together with the reasons advanced at
the hearings for a change of zoning of said property, that a zoning
change should be authorized.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City
of Bakersfield as follows:
That Section 17.12.020 (Zoning Map) of the Municipal Code
of the City of Bakersfield, be and the same is hereby amended by
changing the land use zoning of certain property in said City, the
boundaries of which property are shown on themap hereto attached
and made a part hereof, as follows:
Changing the zoning boundaries from an R-1 (Single
Family Dwelling) Zone to an R-2-D (Two Family Dwell-
ing - Architectural Design) Zone, of that certain
property in the City of Bakersfield located on the
west side of Stine R?ad approximately 680 feet'south
of Beli~ Terrace, being more partzc~larty ~described.
as follows:
The east 1540+ of the south 359.04 feet of the north
1019.04 feet ~f the southwest quarter of Section 2,
T30S, R27E, M.D.B.M.
EXCEPTING that portion that lies easterly of the
westerly right of way line of the Stine Canal, City
of Bakersfield, Cbunty of Kern, State of California.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that. the foregoing Ordinance was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 21st day of July, 1969, by the
following vote:
