AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE SEVENTEEN OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD BY
CHANGING THE I~ND USE ZONING OF THAT CERTAIN
PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD COMMONLY
KNOWN AS 100 - 106 EYE STREET.
WHEREAS, in accordance with the 'procedure set forth in
the 'provisions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of
Bakersfield, the Planning Commission and City Council have held
hearings respectively, on a petition to change the land use zoning
of that certain property in the City of Bakersfield coum-~only known
as 100- 106 Eye Street; and
WHEP, FAS, the City Council has determined after due
consideration of said petition and the recommendations of the Planning
Commission herein on file, together with the reasons advanced at
the hearings for a change of zoning of said pro'perry, that a zoning
change should be authorized.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City
of Bakersfield as follows:
That Section 17.12.020 (Zoning Mm'p) of the Munici'pal Code
of the City of Bakersfield, be and the same is.hereby amended'by
changing the land use zoning of certain property in said City, the
boundaries of which property are shown on the ma'p hereto attached
and made a 'part hereof, as follows:
Changing the zoning boundaries from an R-3 (Limited
Multi'pie Family Dwelling) Zone to an R-3-P (Limited
Multi'pie Family Dwelling - Automobile Parking) Zone,
of that certain 'property in the City of Bakersfield
located on the northeast corner of Eye and First
Streets, being more 'particularly described as
follows:
The West 152. 625' of the South 155.25' of the East
1/2 of Block "Q", Lowell Addition, City of Bakers-
field, County of Kern, State of California, as 'per
Map recorded November' 25, 1898 in Map Book 1, Pages
13 and 14, in the Office of the County Recorder of
said County.
EXCEPTING the West 30' therefrom that lies within
the R/W of Eye Street.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was
'passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 27th day of October, 1969, by
the following vote:
