AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD
CREATING SECTION 11.04.766 OF THE MUNI-
CIPAL CODE SETTING A SPEED LIMIT ON
STOCKDALE HIGHWAY THAT IS WITHIN THE
CITY LIMITS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
SECTION I.
Section 11.04.766. Speed Limit on Stockdale Highway. A
prima facie speed limit of 45 miles per hour is hereby determined and
declared to be the prima facie speed at which vehicles may travel on
that portion of Stockdale Highway that is within the City Limits,
from the west curbline of McDonald Avenue to the east curbline of
Cherry Hill Drive.
SECTION II.
This ordinance shall become effective thirty days from
and after the date of its passage.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the ~ day of December, 1969, by
