AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 11.04 OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD
BY ADDING SECTION 11.04. 722 (a) (PARKING
PROHIBITED ON PORTIONS OF BRUNDAGE LANE AT
"A" STREET)
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
SECTION 1.
That Section 11.04.722(a) be added to the Munici'pal Code
of the City of Bakersfield to read as follows:
11.04. 722 (a) Parking Prohibited on Brundase Lane Ad.]acent to
"A" Street Intersection. When appropriate signs are 'posted, no
· person shall stop, park, or leave standing any vehicle whether
attended or unattended, except when necessary to avoid conflict with
other traffic or in compliance with the directions of a peace
officer or traffic control signal device, on Brundage Lane on the
north side for a distance of 280 feet east of "A" Street and also
on the north side for a distance of 160 feet west of "A" Street,
on the south side of Brundage Lane for a distance of 280 feet west
of "A" Street and also on the south side for a distance of 600
feet east of "A" Street.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall become effective thirty days from
and after the date of its 'passage.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 10th day of November, 1969,
