AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE SEVENTEEN OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD BY
CHANGING THE LAND USE ZONING OF THAT CERTAIN
PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD LOCATED
NORTH OF 42ND STREET AND EAST OF THE EXTEN-
SION OF "O" STREET IN THE SAN DIMAS #3 ANNEX-
ATION.
WHEREAS, in accordance with the procedure set forth in
the provisions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of
Bakersfield, the Planning Commission and City Council have held
hearings respectively, on a petition to change the land use zoning
of that certain p~operty in the City of Bakersfield located north
of 42nd Street and east of the extension of "0" Street in the San
Dimas #3 Annexation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined after due
consideration of said petition and the recommendations of the Planning
Co~m,ission herein on file, together with the reasons advanced at
the hearings for a change of zoning of said property, that a zoning
change should be authorized.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City
of Bakersfield as follows:
That Section 17.12.020 (Zoning Map) of the Municipal Code
of the City of Bakersfield, be and the same is hereby amended by
changing the land use zoning of certain property in said City,
the boundaries of which property are shown on the map hereto
attached and made a part hereof, as follows:
Changing the zoning boundaries from an R-3-D
(Limited Multiple Family Dwelling - Architectural
Design) Zone and a C-O-D (Professional Office -
Architectural Design) Zone to an R-3-MH-D
(Limited Multiple Family Dwelling - Mobile Homm
__ Park -Arc. hi.t..e..c, tural Des. ign), Zone of that certain
property in the City of Bakersfie'ld"io6~'ted n6rth'
of 42nd Street and east of the extension of "0"
Street in the San Dimas #3 Annexation, being more
particularly described as follows:
.Ail that portion of the SW~ of Section 18, T29S,
R28E, M.D.M., City of Bakersfield, County of
Kern, State of California, described as follows:
Co~,-~-~encing at the intersection of the centerline
of "0" Street with the centerline of 42nd Street;
thence N 0°01'52'' E, along the northerly ex-
tension of said centerline of "O" Street 41.25
feet to the true point of beginning; thence con-
tinuing N 0°01'52'' E, 786.85 feet, more or less,
to a point on the corporate limit line of the
City of Bakersfield; thence N 64°11'30'' E
along said corporate limit line, 242.20 feet;
thence S 0°01'52'' W, 892.41 feet, more or less,
to a point 41.25 feet north of the centerline
of said 42nd Street; thence N 89~58'08'' W,
2'17.98 feet to the true point of beginning.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 20th day of April, 1970, by
the following vote:
