AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3.18. 050
OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD AND REPEALING SECTION 3.18.053.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of
Bakersfield as follows:
SECTION 1.
That Section 3.18.050 of the Municipal Code of the City
of Bakersfield is amended to read as follows:
3.18.050 ,S..alary ranKes--Pay periods. Ail employees of the City
of Bakersfield shall earn their wage based on an annual salary
allocated to their class or position. Ail employees shall be paid
on a biweekly basis.
SECTION 2.
That Section 3.18.053 Semimonthly pay rate is hereby
repealed.
SECTION 3.
This ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days
from and after its adoption by the City Council and shall take
retroactive effect July 1, 1970.
