AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD AMENDING
SECTION 3.18.060 BY RECLASSIFICATION.OF CERTAIN
POSITIONS IN THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT AND
BUILDING DEPARTMENT.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Bakers-
field that Section 3.18.060 of the Municipal Code is hereby amended
as follows:
SECTION 1.
That Section 3.18.060 of the Municipal Code be amended by
deleting the position of Assistant Public Works Director, Salary Range
63, and adding Street Engineer to read:
Overtime
Class Number Compensation Class. Title Salary Range
092 (1) Street Engineer 53
SECTION 2.
That Section 3.18.060 of the Municipal Code be amended by
deleting the position of Electrical Superintendent and adding Plant
Superintendent to read:
Overtime
CIass Number Compensation Class Title Salary Range
904 (1) Plant Superintendent 49
SECTION 3.
That Section 3.18.060 of the Municipal Code be amended by
deleting Building Inspector 111 and adding SeniOr Building Inspector
and Senior Housing Inspector, to read:
Overtime
Class Number Compensation Class Title Salary Range
108 (1) Senior Building Inspector 45
107 (1) Senior Housing Inspector 45
SECTION 4.
This ordinance is to become effective thirty days from and
after its adoption by the City Council of the City of Bakersfield.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
~eeting thereof held on the 1st day of June, 1970, by the
