AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 17.12~ 020 OF
CHAPTER 17.12 (ZONING MAP) OF THE MUNICIPAL
CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD.
WHEREAS, in accordance with the procedure set forth, in
the provisions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of
Bakersfield, the Planning Commission and City Council have held
hearings respectively, on a motion to zone certain property now
being annexed to said City, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined after due
consideration of the motion and recommendation of the Planning
Co,..~ission, herein on file, together with the reasons advanced at
the hearing for the zoning of said property, that said zoning
should be authorized upon annexation of said property to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the
City of Bakersfield, as follows:
SECTION 1.
That Section 17.12.020 of Chapter 17.12 (Zoning Map) of
the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, be and the same is
hereby amended by extending the boundaries of said map to include
those certain properties in the County of Kern located west of Wible
Road and south of Ming Avenue to Planz Road, known as WILSON ROAD
NO. 1 Annexation, to include an R-l-CH (Single Family Dwelling -
Church), or more restrictive, Zone; to an R-2-D (Two Family Dwelling -
Architectural Design), or more restrictive, Zone; to an R-3-D (Limited
Multiple Family Dwelling - Architectural Design), or more restrictive,
Zone; and to a C-2-D (Co...~rcial - Architectural Design), or more
restrictive Zone, upon the annexation of said property to the City
of Bakersfield, the boundaries of which property are shown on the
map hereto attached and made a part of this ordinance, and are more
specifically described as follows:
To an R-2-D ('Two Family Dwelling - Architectural Design), or more
restrictive, Zone:
Parcel #1: The N 1/2 of the SE 1/4 of the NE
l/4 of Section 11, T 30 S, R 27 E. EXCEPTING
the south 200 feet therefrom and that right-of-
way' for U.S. 99 Freeway and South Real Road.
Parcel #3; That portion of the N 1/2 of Lot
14 as shown on Sales Map of Lands of Kern CoUnty
Land Company of Section 11, T 30 S, R 27 E,
filed on.January 25, 1894, in the office of
the County Recorder of Kern County, that lies
easterly of Tract No. 2459, recorded May 12,
1961, in the office of the County Recorder of
Kern County. EXCEPTING the right-of-way for
South Real Road.
Parcel#~4: The north 345 feet of the west
382.62 feet of Lot 18 as shown on Sales Map
of Lands of Kern County Land Company of Section
11, T 30 S, R 27 E, filed on January 25, 1894,
in the office of the County Recorder of Kern
County.
To an R-3-D (Limited Multiple Family Dwelling - Architectural Design),
or more restrictive, Zone:
Parcel #2: The south 200 feet of the N 1%2 of
~-~-~4 of the NE 174 of Section 11, T 30 S,
R 27 E. EXCEPTING that right-of-way for U.S.
99 Freeway and South Real Road.
Parcel #8b: The S 1/2 of the N 1/2 of Lot 19
as shown on Sales Map of Lands of Kern County
Land Company of Section 11, T 30 S, R 27 E.
Parcel #11: The S 1/2 of the W 1/2 of Lot 17
as shown on Sales Map of Lands of Kern County
Land Company of Section 11, T 30 S, R 27 E,
filed on January 25, 1894, in the office of
the County Recorder of Kern County.
Parcel #15: Lot 18 as shown on Sales Map of
Lands of Kern County Land Company of Section
11, T 30 S, R 27 E, filed on January 25, 1894,
in the office of the County Recorder of Kern
'County. EXCLUDING the north 345 feet of the
west 382.62 feet, together with the south 320
feet of the west 795.68 feet of said Lot 18.
EXCEPTING the right-of-way for U.S. 99 Freeway
along with all the land that lies easterly of
the westerly right-of-way line of Wible Road.

R 27 E, filed on January 25, 1894, in the
office of the County Recorder of Kern County.
EXCEPTING the right-of-way for Wilson Road.
Parcel #13: The E 1/2 of Lot 17 as shown on
Sales Map of Lands of Kern County Land Company
of Section 11, T 30 S, R 27 E, filed on
January 25, 1894, in the office of the County
Recorder of Kern County. EXCEPTING the
westerly 130 feet therefrom and that right-
of-way for U.S. 99 Freeway and Wilson Road.
To an R-l-CH (Single Family Dwelling - Church), or more restrictive,
Zone:
Parcel #12: The westerly 130 feet of the E
1/2 of Lot 17 as shown on Sales Map of Lands
of Kern County Land Company of Section 11, T
30 S, R 27 E, filed on January 25, 1894, in
the office of the County Recorder of Kern
County. EXCEPTING the right-of-way for Wilson
Road.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall become effective upon the annexation
of the above-described territory to the City of Bakersfield.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 17th day of August, 1970,
